Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper July 2017 challenge

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper
July 2017 Challenge

A challenge that is always about using
Patterned Papers

You may enter any creation on which patterned paper/card has been used

You may enter as many times as you wish during the month and link with as many other challenges as allow you to do so.

As I have an abundance of patterned paper - 12 x 12, 8 x 8, 6 x 6, A4 - I'm giving a prize each month to the randomly chosen winner. I'm willing to post anywhere in the world, so that means that anyone can enter regardless of where you live.

This is the prize for this month's challenge:

12 double sided square papers
10 small patterned papers
5 folded cards with envelopes

Please scroll down or click here to see the winner of
Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper June challenge.
It's worth checking because it might be you!

I hope you will join in again for this month's challenge and that the news will spread even further so that others come and join us too.

July 2017 challenge

If your designs are for Christmas, please feel free to add for my CHNC challenge extra blog, which is always 'anything goes as long as it's Christmas' and my CHNC weekly challenge.

Remember that for this Patterned Paper challenge designs can be for any occasion

We are sad that Margaret and Rocky aren't able to commit to a further six months on the team - thank you, ladies, for all your wonderful design contribution in the past.

We have two new ladies joining us on the team:

Heidi writes:

'Hello, my name Heidi! I am from the USA, am married and mom to two incredible sons. I have been stamping and paper crafting for quite a while, and it became my main hobby about 6 years ago when planning a baby shower. The mom-to-be requested a forest animal theme and no such invitations were available so I went to the craft store for paper and stamps and made them myself. I also am hooked on crochet and like to run - although I won't be winning any races anytime soon! Like many cardmakers, I have an ample supply of patterned paper that I love to use, so CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper challenge is the perfect thing!'

Margaret writes:

'I have been a crafter as long as I can remember, knitting, dressmaking etc. Always wanting to draw but could never draw anything anyone could recognise. But then I found rubber stamps and the rest as they say is history. I have been a keen card maker ever since and even known to make the odd scrapbook page now and then.'

Design Team call for July - December 2018

This post will remain at the top of the blog until the close of the call on Saturday 9 June. Please scroll down or click here for the current challenge.

I've had a wonderfully supportive DT working with me and I am thankful for every one of them. Sadly, two members are not able to commit themselves to a further six months on the team which means I need two new members for July - December 2018.

If you would like to be considered to join the team, please leave your name in linky with a link to your blog - this doesn't have to be an entry link for our challenge - just a general link to your blog.

The initial term would be for six months from July 2018, with a view to continuing after that if mutually agreed.

You would be expected to make one design each month - to be ready a day or too before the 1st of the month. You would be able to make anything as long as you have used some patterned paper. Your design would need to be on your blog as soon as possible after the challenge goes live - always at 00:00 UK time on 1st of the month.

Those who join the DT would be expected to comment on allocated numbers of entries throughout the month. Please be aware that if you join the team there will be a lot of commenting to do because there are always lots of entries.

This call will remain open until 23:55 UK time Saturday 9 June. The new team members will be notified as soon as possible after that date in order to give time to submit a design for 1 July 2018.

We have a DT blog (on blogger) for the team to place their designs for upcoming challenges and for any passing on information etc.

If you have any queries, please email me at craftyhazelnut@gmail.com

This post will remain at the top of the blog until the close of the call on Saturday 9 June. Please scroll down or click here for the current challenge.

The linky in this post is only for those who wish to be considered for the Design Team. Please only enter here once.
