Happy New Year and Welcome
Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper January 2015 Challenge
A challenge that is always about using
Patterned Papers on cards
I don't know about you, but I have enough patterned papers
to keep me going for a very long time
so let's make sure we use plenty of them
A gentle reminder: Please make sure you read the following (there are no other rules) because there have been a few entries creeping in where plain card stock has been used to cover the card blank with very little evidence of much patterned paper - after all, the whole idea of this challenge blog is to use patterned paper.
The monthly challenge will always be 'anything goes' as long as you cover your card blank or other creation with patterned paper or card, using any size or shape that you wish - there are no other rules! You can add embellishments if you wish, stamp, emboss etc - but you must cover your card blank with patterned paper or card. The creation can be for any occasion.
You can leave a small border around your paper when you adhere it to the card blank if you wish, but only a small border! And your creation doesn't have to be a card, it can be any project as long as it is covered with patterned paper.
You will be able to enter as many times as you wish during the month and link with as many other challenges as allow you to do so.
As I have an abundance of patterned paper - 12 x 12, 8 x 8, 6 x 6, A4 - I'm giving a prize each month to the randomly chosen winner. I'm willing to post anywhere in the world, so that means that anyone can enter regardless of where you live.
This is the prize for this month's challenge:
A pack of Fun Fair 6" x 6" papers - 48 sheets - 4 sheets of 12 designs

It's worth checking because it might be you!
I hope you will join in again for this new challenge and that the news will spread even further so that others come and join us too.
January 2015 challenge
Remember that for this Patterned Paper challenge
cards can be for any occasion
I have two cards to show for the beginning of the month. The first one uses a very old piece of 6 x 6 DCWV paper that created a quick card, topping it with a tag that I made ages ago and never used - you can read more about this card on My Crafty Outlook here
For the second card I've used a couple of pieces of paper that I found in one of my offcuts box - yes, I left a border around the pale pink patterned paper, as a bit of a border is permitted. You can read more about this card here
on My Crafty Outlook:
