January 2018 Challenge
Wishing you a Happy New Year
A challenge that is always about using
Patterned Papers
You may enter any creation on which some patterned paper/card has been used
You may enter as many times as you wish during the month and link with as many other challenges as allow you to do so.
As I have an abundance of patterned paper - 12 x 12, 8 x 8, 6 x 6, A4 - I'm giving a prize each month to the randomly chosen winner. I'm willing to post anywhere in the world, so that means that anyone can enter regardless of where you live.
This is the prize for this month's challenge:
Docrafts Papermania Capsule collection
Midnight Blush
6" x 6" paper pad
32 individual designs
+
Die cut notelets
6 designs - 18 pieces
If your designs are for Christmas, please feel free to add for my CHNC weekly challenge, which is always anything goes as long as it's Christmas, with an optional theme each week.

Remember that for this Patterned Paper challenge designs can be for any occasion
Sadly, as I said last month, Elizabeth and Lynne are unable to continue as DT members. Thank you so much, both of you, for all your creative inspiration - we will miss you, but hope you will perhaps call into the blog and share some entries with us.
I'm pleased to say that all the other DT members are able to commit to being part of this challenge blog for a further six months from January and that we are being joined by two others:
Julie Thornton:
My name is Julie and I absolutely adore paper crafts. My husband is a great supporter of my crafting and has even asked me to make things for his work. I have two sons who are both in college.
I have been crafting most of my life. I started counted cross stitch when I was in middle school and have dabbled in all kinds of crafts from flower arranging, scrapbooking to painting. I started making my own greeting cards while I was in college as a way to save money. Oh if only making cards was a money saver now…hahahaha! It is so much fun to pick out papers, ribbons, sentiments and embellishments to make a card for someone special.
My name is Monica and I live in Italy. I graduated in English literature a long ago and, after working in a big Company for years, I decided to become a stay-at-home-mom. After years of painting, back in 2008 I tried with papercrafts and stamps and I’ve never looked back! I first used watercolour pencils because Copics were not available in my town but now they are my favourite coloring medium.
Both of these ladies have been on the DT for my CHNC challenge extra which has now closed, so I am glad that they accepted the invitation to join us here.
