Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper May 2015 challenge

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper May 2015 Challenge

A challenge that is always about using
Patterned Papers

I don't know about you, but I have enough patterned papers
to keep me going for a very long time -
so let's make sure we use plenty of them

A rule change - please read:

From now on you may enter any creation on which patterned paper has been used - you are no longer required to completely cover the creation with patterned paper, as long as you use some on your creation, obviously the more, the better.

You may enter as many times as you wish during the month and link with as many other challenges as allow you to do so.

As I have an abundance of patterned paper - 12 x 12, 8 x 8, 6 x 6, A4 - I'm giving a prize each month to the randomly chosen winner. I'm willing to post anywhere in the world, so that means that anyone can enter regardless of where you live.

This is the prize for this month's challenge

Crafts House Allsorts

Each sheet is about 14 x 14cm (5 1/2 x 5 1/2")
and is printed on 120gsm pearlescent paper which is acid and lignin free.
6" x 6" Designer Paper Pack
6 sheets of each of the 6 designs

Please scroll down or click here to see the winner of Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper April challenge.
It's worth checking because it might be you!

I hope you will join in again for this new challenge and that the news will spread even further so that others come and join us too.

May 2015 challenge

If your cards happen to fit the theme for the week on my CHNC challenge blog, please feel free to add there as well and also for my CHNC challenge extra blog, which is always 'anything goes as long as it's Christmas.

Remember that for this Patterned Paper challenge
designs can be for any occasion

For my card I used some of the Crafts House Alllsorts paper (not from the prize pack, from another one!), using one of my favourite wedding stamps, inking with versamark and heat embossing with Wow! metallic rich super fine gold powder. More details here on My Crafty Outlook.

Please become a follower of this blog if you haven't done so already and also advertise it on your own blog so that others see it and join in - you may use the logo from the sidebar if you wish. Thank you to all of you who have already become followers and have spread the news of this blog - please keep doing so.

May's challenge will end at 20:00 UK time 31 May. The randomly chosen winner will be announced at 23:00 UK time on 31 May and a new challenge will start at midnight on 1 June 2015.

Please include a link to this blogpost within the post for your creation. Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

Please continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you.

I look forward to seeing your entries.

  5. Hello Hazel--I just joined your patterned paper blog and definitely have some patterned paper to use for this and future challenges. Is there someway that the HTML for your blog badge can be sent to me; I tried grabbing it and couldn't get it to reflect the image and link back to your blog.

  6. I'd willingly share it with you, Libby, but there isn't access to your blog when I click on your name, so I don't know how to contact you.x

  8. Dear Hazel,

Thanks so much for hosting your lovely challenge - I just wanted to comment that I just noticed the rule change and I'm SO happy to see that we can now join as long as we include ANY amount of patterned paper on our creations (not just the ones where we've covered the entire background!)

Although I did the latter this week, there are many times I've wanted to play but my creative impulses took me in a different direction!

I ALWAYS think of your challenge blog when I am crafting because I am buried in all of that pretty patterned paper that I am FINALLY putting to use! I know I'm not alone - just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all that you do! :-)
